Dayan Moore, B.F.A. has been painting in various parts of the northeast and Europe for two decades. Her present body of work is based on an on-going dialogue with the sea, exploring the nature of continual change by isolating a particular moment in time.

She uses color to conjure the feeling or memory of a particular place, holding still a fleeting moment. Most of the new work is created from sketches and journals Ms. Moore keeps while traveling.
